Fixed the NULL vs. 0 data problem. Major fight here. The version of MySql on the new server is different than my own server, so some learning needed to occur. I'm slowly cleaning up my original code, consolidating functions, etc. I think I've caught most of the breaks that have occurred as a result ... let me know if you find something is not working, please. Published a new applicaiton ... "Fastest between Check X & Y" ... this is a very fun one. Want to see the fastest ever runners between Fish Hatchery Inbound and the Finish? How about Winfield to Twin Lakes inbound? Some surprising findings in there. My own run from FH in @ 5:30:07 ranks 48th in the 5 years of data ... if only I could be faster in the first 76 miles . I'll keep plugging away. Chris

Some good updates: - 2002 data is now complete and loaded. Don't know how I missed this whole data set on the LT100 website before
- Fixed the Age group field for all years
- Filled in Sex for all years
- Developed a new query that allows for viewing the fastest between checks A & B for the years that we have full data. i.e. between FH2 and Finish, between TL1 and TL2, etc. This query is not linked into the site, yet.
And not so good ones:
- Somehow on the re-import, all of my null fields turned into zeroes. Pretty much all queries are screwed because of this. Anything that needs to be averaged is worthless
- I'm re-working the base routines for the entire site. This has other queries completely not working at the moment
Should get it all fixed up this weekend. |

From an email sent by Steve Siguaw: Announcement Here is an important update on the 2007 LT100 Trail Run. I talked with Ken and he said that the received entries to date are way ahead of last year. He attributes this to the fact that this is the 25th year for the run.
Ken also said that they are today, past the half way point to their maximum limit for the LT100 Run. He does not want anyone who wants to participate in the run to be shut out this year by waiting too long.
He believes that the run will fill up within the next few weeks!
So if you are planning to run in 2007 and have procrastinated, please get your entry in before it is too late!
Happy trails in 2007!
