Howdy & welcome!

You've reached the home of the Leadville 100 data mining project.  This project was born out of a curiousity for what makes a successful LT100 runner crossed with a desire to learn more about web connected technologies.

So far several apps have been developed.  You can find links to them on the left in the Main Menu.  The database contains data from 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 and includes all check-in and check-out times from the official data available on the LT100 website.

Hopefully we (being all of you plus me) can encourage the LT100 organization to provide more data ... even if it's in paper form.  Prior to the 2006 race, it sounded like they were interested in the project, but no further contact has been made.

In the mean time, you can join the mailing list or subscribe to this site using the "Syndicate" menu on the left.

Most of all, send me ideas about further data views.  There are others in progress, but only you can tell me how you'd like to see the data.
